ArtsBeat is a digital-first arts journalism initiative that will provide consistent and in-depth coverage of the Sarasota area’s cultural eco-system, led by veteran journalists Jay Handelman and Carrie Seidman.
Created in partnership by DreamLarge, Suncoast Searchlight and Gulf Coast Community Foundation, the model focuses on editorial excellence, mentorship, and long-term sustainability through a nonprofit revenue mix.
